Roles & Policies
Access Control & Security Policies
Section titled “Access Control & Security Policies”WhiteStart uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure team members have appropriate permissions for their specific workflows. Access governance is built on two primary components:
- Policies: Granular permission sets that define exact actions (View, Create, Edit, Delete) allowed within each platform module.
- Roles: Functional job containers that group one or more policies together and are directly assigned to team members.
1. Accessing Roles & Policies
Section titled “1. Accessing Roles & Policies”Main Sidebar ➔ Settings (⚙️) ➔ ORGANIZATION ➔ Roles & Policies- In the primary left-hand navigation sidebar, click on Settings (
⚙️) located near the bottom. - In the secondary settings navigation menu under the ORGANIZATION section, click Roles & Policies.
- The workspace will load with dedicated management sections for Policies and Roles.
2. Layout Structure & Core Architecture
Section titled “2. Layout Structure & Core Architecture”WhiteStart’s access control architecture separates permission definitions from role assignments:
